  • “GigTaps” / “We” / “Us” – refers to the GigTaps platform, its owners, and operators.

  • “User” / “You” – refers to any person accessing or using the Platform, including freelancers and clients.

  • “Freelancer” – a user offering services through the Platform.

  • “Client” – a user posting projects or hiring freelancers.

  • “Services” – any freelance services provided via the Platform.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration details.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Platform Services

GigTaps provides an online marketplace for freelancers and clients to connect, collaborate, and transact.

  • Freelancers may list services (“gigs”) and submit proposals.

  • Clients may post projects, review proposals, and hire freelancers.

  • GigTaps is not a party to contracts between freelancers and clients.

5. User Obligations

For Freelancers:

  • Deliver services professionally and on time.

  • Avoid plagiarism, fraud, or unethical practices.

  • Maintain client confidentiality.

For Clients:

  • Provide clear project requirements.

  • Pay freelancers promptly through GigTaps’ payment system.

  • Use the platform for lawful purposes only.

6. Payments & Fees

  • All payments must be made through GigTaps’ secure payment system.

  • GigTaps may charge service fees (e.g., commission on transactions).

  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or under GigTaps’ refund policy.

  • Freelancers are responsible for paying any applicable taxes.

7. Dispute Resolution

  • In case of disputes, users should first attempt to resolve them directly.

  • If unresolved, GigTaps may mediate but does not guarantee resolution.

  • GigTaps’ decision in disputes is final and binding for platform-related matters.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users must NOT:

  • Post or request illegal, harmful, or offensive content.

  • Circumvent the platform by making direct payments outside GigTaps.

  • Misrepresent identity, qualifications, or services.

  • Use bots, scrapers, or unauthorized software on the Platform.

9. Intellectual Property

  • Users retain ownership of content they create.

  • By posting content on GigTaps, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and use that content for platform operation.

  • GigTaps’ logo, name, and branding are our exclusive property and may not be used without permission.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

  • GigTaps collects and processes user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Users agree to lawful handling of personal data.

11. Termination & Suspension

  • GigTaps reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

  • Users may terminate their account at any time, but outstanding obligations remain enforceable.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • GigTaps provides the platform “as is” without warranties of any kind.

  • We are not responsible for disputes, losses, or damages arising from user interactions.

  • Our liability shall not exceed the total fees paid to us by a user in the last 6 months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GigTaps, its affiliates, and staff from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of the Platform.

14. Changes to Terms

GigTaps may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
